Preheat your oven to gas mark 5 (190C)
Cream together the butter and sugar
Add golden syrup and combine
Mix together the dry ingredients
Add the wet and dry ingredients together
Roll into walnut-sized balls
Place onto a lined baking tray
Press down lightly with a fork
Bake for 11-12 minutes
You want them to be firm and lightly brown
Leave on the baking tray for a few minutes before transferring to a cooling rack
