  • 1 sheet shortcrust pastry


  • 125 g jam of your choice
  • 110 g golden syrup
  • 50 g butter I used Vitalite
  • 30 g brown sugar
  • 125 g cornflakes


  1. Prepare your pastry.

  2. Line the *fluted tinĀ and then bake on gas mark 5 for about 15 minutes. Use baking beans if you like.

  3. Melt together the golden syrup, butter and brown sugar.

  4. Once melted pour in the cornflakes and slowly stir through until well coated.

  5. Pour this mix into the pastry case and return to the oven for 6-8 minutes until the mixture is firm.
  6. Serve and enjoy!
