  • 300 g leftover mashed potatoes
  • 30 g plain flour I used Doves gluten-free
  • 1 medium egg
  • Salt & pepper
  • Additional seasoning optional - I used a little BBQ seasoning from Aldi
  • Spray oil


  1. Measure out the ingredients.
  2. Combine together the leftover mashed potatoes, plain flour, medium egg, salt & pepper and additional seasoning (optional).
  3. Grease the waffle maker with your spray oil.
  4. Add your mixture and cook for around 3-5 minutes. Depending on your waffle maker size you may have enough ingredients for two waffles. We don't as I always overfill the waffle maker!
  5. Serve. Add toppings of your choice.
