Slow cooker gluten free sausage cassoulet [DF, GF, SF]

I love using my slow cooker as it is a real time saver. Being able to load it up in the morning, and then go about my day is so useful. Daisy loves helping me chuck the ingredients into the slow cooker and I always encourage her to join me. I find that this makes Daisy more interested in eating her dinner and that is a win for me! This slow cooker gluten free sausage cassoulet takes just minutes to prepare and has such a deep, rich flavour. Please ensure you always check the ingredients you are using, as ingredients may vary by brand. Scroll down near the end of this recipe for the recipe card to get started right away!

Gluten free cornflake tart [DF, SF, GF]

I’m a big fan of money saving, particularly when it comes to regular household bills and expenses. One area where we spend quite a lot of money, food wise, is on snacks and treats for Daisy. With 4 small bakewell tarts costing £2.00 and 6 jam tarts costing £2.50 this really prompts me to make my own. It’s a little more time consuming but I know that Daisy loves my cooking and appreciates all the treats. Recently I made this gluten free cornflake tart and I’ve had quite a few messages asking me for the recipe – so here it is!

Daisy had an FPIES food trial for dairy!

Recently our lovely Daisy headed to the Evelina Children’s Hospital for an FPIES food trial and I thought I’d pop up a little post explaining how it worked and how she got on. We explain allergies to Daisy well, and so she was aware before we visited the hospital, of everything that would be happening.

Dairy and gluten free pancakes [DF, SF, GF]

I love whipping up dishes for Daisy that are similar to the ones that we eat. Making dairy and gluten free pancakes is really simple, they taste pretty similar to ones with dairy and gluten and are just as simple to make. I love a recipe that is quick, easy AND frugal. Well, as frugal as dairy and gluten free recipes can be. Gluten free jam tarts [DF, GF, SF]

Baking always goes down well with a 3-year-old at home and allergies don’t need to be a barrier to this! We like to bake on weekends, mostly because we have more time to clean up and spend together. This recipe is made using homemade gluten-free shortcrust pastry, but you can buy ready-rolled too!
